Charles K. Lee's Obituary
Charles Kent Lee, 87, of Manchester, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022. Cremation has taken place and the family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
He was born on August 12, 1935, in Ada, Minnesota to Merrill and Vivienne (Mallinger) Lee. Charles will be remembered as a loving father, and grandfather. He spent time in the United States Marine Corps. Charles found out that being a truck driver was where the money was, he spent several years driving across the country. His wife Ann was his co-pilot, until her health declined. Charles was an intelligent, dry witted man who was always happy to help others. His favorite quote was “never let the truth get in the way of a good story”. Charles enjoyed the companionship of Anitra Gordon the last four years.
Charles will be missed by his son, Thomas (Janice) Lee, and stepdaughter Barbara (Larry) Mizrahi; siblings, Cynthia (Russ) Ryden, Charmaine Amos and Harold (Dawn) Lee; grandchildren Sydney (TJ Pendell) Lee, Tom Mizrahi and Henry Mizrahi; great grandchildren Harrison and Grayson; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann, daughter Janie, brother, Jack Lee and sisters Alice Bickhart and Mary Creighton.
