Chuck was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Marshall and his parents, Edward and Marjorie (Cochrane) Marshall. He was a 1960 graduate of Michigan Center High School. He was a mechanic by trade, following in the footsteps of his father, and worked for a few automotive garages but most of his time was with Tansky Oldsmobile and his last 20 years before retirement was with Perfection Bakeries. Chuck had a love for horses. He raced a sulky with ponies and was a member of the Jackson Pony Trotting Club. Over the years, Chuck showed horses with 4-H where he had State 4-H Champion in Western Confirmation, later he taught horse as a 4-H Leader. Time with family and friends and playing practical jokes (he had a wonderful dry sense of humor) were what brought great joy to Chuck's life.
