Charles Brian Rochefort, 79, passed away on September 21, 2025, in Jackson, Michigan, the city where he was born on January 10, 1946. Please join Charlie's family for a celebration of life, Friday, October 3, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the 3 Horse Club 4793 Page Ave. Michigan Center, Michigan
Charlie, lived a life rich in love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those around him. A drafted Vietnam War veteran, Charlie carried his service with honor. The experiences he endured formed his iron-willed character and enduring spirit, making him one passionate fighter for all he believed in. Such a man of many talents and passions. He found solace in the outdoors—whether hunting, fishing, golfing or taking the pontoon out for an evening. Also, an artist at heart, Charlie was especially gifted in carving and painting decoy ducks as well as painting. His charisma and sense of humor, made it nearly impossible not to pull up a chair, share a drink, and stay awhile. Whether it was around the pool on Rosewood or out on the slab at Lakeside, Charlie’s home was always open. His quick wittedness would get you, every. single. time. Often leaving you aching from all of the cackling. Charlie’s love for his family ran deep.
He is survived by his wife Anna Castillo; his sons Rusty and Robby Rochefort; his grandchildren Paige, Marissa, and Marcus Rochefort; and his great-granddaughter Violet. He also leaves behind his siblings Barry Rochefort, Randy Rochefort, and Judy A. Jones. He now joins in rest his parents Iron and Helen (Starbuck) Rochefort; his brother Phil Rochefort; and his loving first wife and high school sweetheart, Lynda Rochefort.
Charlie will be missed dearly and his love is irreplaceable. May his legacy and memory be carried on with storytelling and laughter forevermore.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the 3 Horse Club in Michigan Center or the VA. Please leave a message of comfort for Charlie’s family or sign his guestbook at www.EinederFuneralHomes.com.
