Charles LeRoy Rupert's Obituary
RUPERT, CHARLES LeROY ""CHUCK"" Passed away at his home in Charlotte, NC, on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. He was born on March 26, 1955 in Jackson, MI to the late LeRoy and Ruth (Graves) Rupert. Chuck was a beloved husband, father and grandfather; an avid hockey fan and golf lover. He retired from the USAF in 1997 after a 21 year career as a meteorologist. He is survived by his wife, Marie; son, Charles Rupert of Charlotte, NC; daughters, Jennifer Powers Kremski of Bossier City, LA and Lynne (Donnie) Woodall of Raleigh, NC; five grandchildren, Ray, Adam and Christopher Cordova, Donnie Kremski, all of Bossier City, and Kendal Rupert of Wendell NC; sister, Dianne (Patrick) Ryan of Jackson; brothers-in-law, Dennis and Tom Swain; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 10:30 am with Reverend Mathias Thelen officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 pm. For those who wish, contributions in Chuck's memory may be given to the U of M Comprehensive Cancer Center.
