Cheryl Kay Hoskins' Obituary
Cheryl Kay Hoskins, 73, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital, Jackson. Cheryl’s family and friends will gather Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel (formerly Arthur Day Funeral Home). Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at 11:00 am following visitation from 10:00 am– 11:00 am. Pastor. Tom Burgett to officiate. Interment to be at Leoni Township Cemetery.
She was born on February 5, 1949, in Jackson, Michigan to Donald and Erma (Evers) Woods. Cheryl married the love of her life, Herman Hoskins in 1970 in Jackson, Michigan. They had 39 wonderful years together, until his passing in 2009. She will be remembered for her love for birds. She loved all birds, especially her canaries that she raised and her Bantam chickens. Cheryl was very proud of her flower garden; her hibiscus is extraordinary in size. She was a devoted wife and mother. Cheryl was an amazing cook and enjoyed watching reality television and the home shopping network. Above all, Cheryl loved her family and Persian cat “Suzy Q”. She will be greatly missed by her family and those who knew and loved her.
Cheryl is survived by her children, Tyler Hoskins and Amy Hoskins, grandchildren, Jordan Hoskins, Jesse McDaniel, Jonathon McDaniel, Megan Hogan and Ricky Hogan. She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Erma; husband, Herman; sisters Donna and Beverly Ann and a brother Darrell Woods.
