Cheryl Robyn Mroz's Obituary
Cheryl Mroz, 69, of Michigan Center, passed away at home, on Monday, February 12, 2024. Cheryl’s family and friends will gather from 10:00AM-11:00AM, on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Concord United Methodist Church (119 S. Main Street, Concord, MI 49237). Her funeral service will follow at 11:00AM, at the same location. Pastor Rachel Labram will officiate the service.
Cheryl was born on September 1, 1954, in Jackson, Michigan to Raymond and Beverly (Lapp) Mroz. She grew up in Michigan Center and graduated from Michigan Center High School in 1972. Cheryl loved her family and friends, the lights of her life were her daughters, grandchildren, and nieces. She enjoyed NASCAR, Harry Potter and 70’s Rock N’ Roll. Cheryl had a bold personality and vivid imagination; she could make friends with anyone. She was fascinated by the Civil War and enjoyed dressing up in costumes. Cheryl was known to have a unique fashion sense and to always have a cup of iced tea in her hand. Her specialty was fried bologna sandwiches and Mrs. Grass soup. Cheryl was supportive and loving and was a caretaker to all.
Cheryl will be missed dearly by her children, Sarah (Robert) Dolson, and Stephanie Littlejohn (Brandon Beaster); sister, Caron Mroz; grandchildren, Taylor (Michelle) Dolson, Tyler Dolson, Jenner Beaster, and Zoey Beaster; her great grandson; nieces, Kimberley (Josh) Gorzen, great-nieces, Keileigh and Azaelia, and many cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Beverly, her brother, Robert, her husband, Mike Weeder, and her grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
