Chloea Beverly Miller's Obituary
Chloea Beverly Storm Miller, 97, of Jackson, Michigan passed away October 12, 2024 at the Jackson Henry Ford Hospice Home. Chloea’s family and friends will gather 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Monday October 21, 2024, at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel. Her funeral service will follow at 11:00 with Pastor Michael D. Mason as officiate.
She was born on November 4, 1926, in Tampa, Florida to Carl and Claudia (Gordy) Ratcliff . She will be remembered as a loving mother who dedicated herself to caring for others. She nurtured infants, young children and adults for 35 years as a foster parent and caregiver. Chloea loved being a homemaker, and a mother who always provided dessert with her dinners and rarely had an empty cookie jar or candy bowl. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the many wonderful nurses and aides that cared for her in the past two years where she resided at Mission Point and Arbor Manor care facilities.
Chloea will be missed by her children, Claudia (Rodney) Watts, Linda (Thomas) Grimsley, Daniel (Cindy) Storm and William (Joyce) Miller; eight grandchildren;11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Claudia; two loving husbands, F. Raymond Storm and Robert H. Miller; son, Darel W. Storm; sisters, June Aiken, Patricia Mohr and Sally Bloomer and brothers Carl H. Ratcliff and Robert Ratcliff.
