Christopher "Chris" Bailey's Obituary
Bailey, Christopher
Michigan Center
Christopher “Chris” Bailey, 74, of Michigan Center, Michigan, suddenly passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at home. Chris was born July 8, 1951 at Rowe Medical Hospital in Stockbridge, Michigan, to Effort and Lottie Bailey of Munith, Michigan. He graduated from Stockbridge High School and became employed by Michigan Central Railroad for a time. Soon though, he realized his life’s calling, which was to be a car salesman. He started a car lot in Jackson he called USA1 Auto Sales for a short time, but eventually moved to Florida where he spent the remainder of his career in automobile sales. He eventually retired and moved back to Michigan. He enjoys cooking, but his lifelong hobby and passion was karaoke and he was well known in the Jackson karaoke scene. He sang primarily Neil Diamond songs and had a large following. Even though he was not a regular church goer, Chris was a man of faith and is now with our Lord.
Chris was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie and son David Bailey. He is survived by his son, Jason Bailey; his brothers, William (Kathy) Bailey, Tim Bailey, his sisters Judy Forrest) Nieman, Ann (Rick) Glasgow and Susan (Mark) Bokurak; many nieces and nephews and grandchildren in the Jackson area. He is being cremated and a celebration of life will be planned after the first of the year.
