Christopher Paul Hines' Obituary
Christopher Paul Hines, age 60, of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, February 23, 2023. Christopher’s family and friends will gather Thursday, March 2, 2023, from 5pm - 8pm at Eineder Funeral Homes-Michigan Center Chapel (formerly Arthur – Day Funeral Home) 820 5th St., Michigan Center, Michigan. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (913 Napoleon Rd., Michigan Center, Michigan) with a gathering to begin at 10am. Fr. Satheesh Alphonse, SdC to serve as celebrant.
He was born on December 25, 1962, in Jackson, Michigan to Walter and Shirley (Derr) Hines. Christopher was a proud graduate of Napoleon High School, Class of 1981. He also proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. He will be remembered as a very loving father and grandfather who adored his grandchildren. Christopher enjoyed fishing with his best friend Kevin Miller, or golfing with his son Jordan. He also loved to play pickleball and was a member of the Jackson Area Pickleball Association. Most importantly he was a passionate follower of Christ.
Christopher will be missed by his mother, Shirley Hines; his children, Robert Andrew Hines, Brittany Danielle Hines, Jordan Matthew Hines, and Taylor Kristen Hines; brothers; Joe (Mel) Hines, David (Dawn) Hines, Mike Hines, Tim Hines and Greg (Holly Hines); and his grandchildren Collin Patrick Hines, Liam Christopher Hines, Grayson Adam Lamaire, Tucker Paul Hines, Vaeda Michelle Beeler and Blake Matthew Hines. He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Hines and brother Matthew Hines.
