I never met Thumper in person, but I'd read a considerable amount of what he posted on the Shovelhead board. He was knowledgeable and memorable - even on a board with a cast of colorful and knowledgeable characters.
I liked him, and so did many others. He was liked and respected - and I'm thankful for the opportunity to have virtually met him. And to have the opportunity to join in in offering condolences to all his family and friends.
He will be missed. Rest in peace.
