Cindy was born on September 27, 1958, in Jackson, MI. She attended and loved Michigan Center High School, where she graduated in 1976. Cindy spent her career of 27 years, at the University of Michigan. She was extremely dedicated to the university, especially when it came to the sports teams. Cindy loved watching all the sports, but especially had a love for the men’s basketball team, which she had season passes. She had a passion for flower gardening! Cindy was always known for her beautiful gardens around her home. She found great pleasure in being outside in her garden, where she had multiple bird houses. Cindy could sit for hours taking in the pure beauty of nature that her flower garden provided. She also adored her cats; they were like her children. Cindy absolutely loved being a mother to her own children and to many others in her community. She will be remembered as a loving mother and a dreamer, who loved to nurture and care for others. Cindy will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Cindy will be missed by her children, Wendy Harper, Amanda (Steven) Parker and Michael Harper; her siblings, Rick Conaway, Tom Binsack and Michelle Shaw; many nieces and nephews; and many dear friends, who were like family. She is preceded in death by her mother, Jerry; and her father, David.
To honor Cindy, the family asks for everyone to give flowers, which she loved so dearly. Each flower will be a beautiful reminder of her love of nurturing and caring that she gave so many.
