Dale A. Berrisford's Obituary
Dale Alan Berrisford, age 70 of Cement City, MI, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 9, 2023 at Lenawee Hospice Home. Dale’s family gathered for a private service at Eineder Funeral Homes - Brooklyn Chapel.
He was born on May 29, 1953, in Harrison Twp., Michigan at the Selfridge Air Force Base to Richard and Donna (Addis) Berrisford. Dale is a 1971 graduate of L’Anse Creuse High School in Harrison Twp., MI. He worked for Motor City Cartage and W.D. White as a truck driver for many years. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #299 out of Detroit. He was a huge Bowler and NASCAR fan; Dale loved racing, stockcars, Enduro, demolition derby cars and even drag racing with his 340 Dart. He was a very handy mechanic. He will be greatly missed.
Dale is survived by his mom, Donna Matthews; his children, Jonathon Berrisford; Jennifer (Nicholas) Zolnierek; grandchild, Malcolm Zolnierek; his brother, Dennis Berrisford; numerous cousins and stepdad, Tom Matthews. He is preceded in death by his dad, Richard.
