Dale Gilmore Cole's Obituary
Cole, Dale G., age 86, of Michigan Center, passed away April 10, 2014 at Allegiance Health. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Irene A., three children, Jeff Cole, Pam Gundy and David (Michelle) Cole, nine grandchildren, one great-grandson, brother Robert Cole and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Neva Cole, two sisters, one brother and daughter-in-law Cynthia Cole. He retired from Wolverine Metal Specialties, worked many years at Walker Manufacturing, was an avid woodcrafter, specializing in birdhouses and windmill, enjoyed fishing and was a Paka Pacer (Jackson Crossing Walker). He served his nation as a soldier in the US Army during the Korean War. Services will be held at the funeral home Monday, April 14, 2014 at 11 am with Father John Whitlock officiating. Interment Hillcrest. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Michigan Kidney Foundation. Graveside Military Honors will be offered by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team.
