Dan Patrick Boylan's Obituary
Patrick Boylan, 73, of Brooklyn passed away at home Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Pat’s family and friends will gather Monday, January 6, 2025 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Eineder Funeral Homes – Brooklyn Chapel. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am following visitation from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Eineder Funeral Homes – Brooklyn Chapel. Pastor Jim Morrison from Jackson Summit Church of God will officiate.
He was born on December 28, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio to Jack and Jean (Scholl) Boylan. Patrick married Karen Lindeman, on July 12, 2008 in Tecumseh, Michigan. He will be remembered as an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and son. Pat was a man of many talents, a true MacGyver. Pat was a Blissfield High School graduate, class of 1970. He also attended Western Michigan University and Eastern Michigan University. Pat was a member of the Local 85 Boilermakers, retiring after twenty plus years of service. Between his time as a Boilermaker, he also was a partner in Boylan Builders, with his brother David. They built many homes to be displayed in the Parade of Homes in and around the Brooklyn area. He also enjoyed refurbishing automobiles. Pat was a flawless craftsman who had an eye for detail. He also was an avid painter with acrylics and pastels. Pat was a plant whisperer. He also was a member of the Jackson Summit Church of God. Pat had a great personality but most importantly he was a family man, the grandchildren called him “Poppa’ with affection. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Patick is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Karen; his children, Zackery Boylan, Logan Boylan, Donald Lindeman II, Aleisha Lindeman, Brian Olds and Brandon (Brittney) Olds; his mother, Jean Boylan; siblings, Joanne (Alan) Jaworski, David Boylan, Theresa (Mark) Saumier, Catherine (Les) Schiel, and Thomas (Emily) Boylan; grandchildren, Daederyonna, Nalaysha, Anthony, Felicity, Daivion, Brianna, Donald Junior, Alexandria, Carter, Novalee, Isaiah, Nelson and Lexi; 6 great grandchildren, with one on the way; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Boylan and a grandson, Sheakjuan Lindeman.
