I am saddened to hear of Patri k's passing. We were great friends during his days at Western Michigan University. Pat was a talented and creative individual and I remember for the art he created while at WMU. I was happy to have contact with him just a couple years ago and as we talked by phone, it was like decades gone by never hhappened. We talked then about getting together,but sadly things did not work out with life challenges for Pat in Michigan and me living in Arizona. But in my heart he is remembered as one of the beautiful people who touched my life! May he rest in Heavenly peace!

Ending the year of 2025, the new year was hard. I shut myself in my room and watched TV all night. I couldn't focus on what had happened exactly one year ago. Pat was the best grandpa ever, and I really miss him. Every day I think of him and all the things I wish I could tell him. But the thought that always comforts me is that I know he is pain free. For me, though, I still have a long way to go. I know it will be hard to keep going, because he was the closest person to me, but one day I will keep going. I know one day I will see him again. ❤

My grandpa was the best person ever known to me. He was an artist, a builder, the list goes on forever. He had so many talents. Losing him was one of the hardest things in my life. I miss him so so much. Thank you for loving me grandpa.

So sorry to hear of Pat's passing. While Pat and I disagreed on a lot of things (He loved to stick it to me in the letters to the editor in The Exponent) I always enjoyed getting his take on the world. He put a lot of thought and insight into his letters, and clearly had a passion for sharing his views articulately and, yes, at times ferociously. I always admired that he was willing to call it as he saw it, and will miss his correspondence.

Uncle Pat was such a light. He treated me like one of his own grandchildren. He loved showing me all of his WWE figures and new things he had upstairs. We would bond over WWE things and we would laugh and yell about them together. He wad such a talent and loved everyone with all of his heart no matter how stubborn he may have seemed. He really had a kind heart. I'm so glad I got the chance to know him
