Daniel Leroy Earley's Obituary
EARLEY, DANIEL L. Age 66, of Clark Lake, with his wife at his side, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, August 21, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Gaylord ""Red"" Earley and brother, Mike Earley. Dan is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carol S. (Jester); two daughters, Tammy (Terry) Draper of Battle Creek and Melanie Earley of Tecumseh; four grandchildren, Jacob Tappenden, Amber, Katie and Terry Jr. Draper; his mother, Clara (Bud) Earley-Creekmore of Jackson; two sisters, Patricia (William) Bigcraft of Portland, OR and Peggy Aylesworth of Jackson; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his furry friend, Gumdrop. Dan was a welder by trade, working many years at Addison Products and Quincy Stamping; he last worked as a guard with Great Northern Security. He was a volunteer for 17 years with the Columbia Township Fire Department; very much enjoyed fishing in both summer and winter; and was found most Thursday nights at Panera Bread with his Men's Coffee Club. Dan was a 37 year member of the Cascades Baptist Church, 1012 W. High Street in Jackson, where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Noon with Pastor Steve Jones officiating. Interment will take place at Clark Lake Cemetery at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm and at the church on Tuesday beginning at 11 am.
