Daniel N. Foust's Obituary
Age 66, of Napoleon, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 under the loving care of his family and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. Dan is survived by his beloved family, his wife of 40 years, Kathy (McCarter) Foust; three children, Jeremy (Amy) Foust, Chasity Raymon and Daniel (Jessica) Foust II; eight grandchildren, Aaron Foust, Jamie Foust, Michael (Phoenix) McCloskey, James McCloskey, Daniel Foust III, Trenton Foust, Danica Foust and Azariah Foust; two great-grandchildren, Brian Bennett and Taylor McCloskey; sister, Hazel (Jack) Miller; sister-in-law, Denise Foust; nieces and nephews and the McCarter family in-laws. He was preceded in death by his parents, DeWayne and Lois Foust; brother, DeWayne Foust II and infant brother, Timmy Foust. Dan served for many years in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves. He worked at Crescive Die and Tool in Saline; then retired from Production Saw and Machine in Clarklake. Dan didn't like to sit still; he was always on the go working on projects, gardening, woodworking or helping family members with their projects. He was a member of Loomis Park Baptist Church, 2301 N. Elm, Jackson, MI 49201, where a funeral service to honor Dan's life will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 11:00 am with Pastor Rich Zawadzki officiating. Visitation will be held at church from 10:00 am until service time. Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery in Napoleon with military honors by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team will take place at 2:00 pm. For those who wish, contributions in Dan's memory may be given to Loomis Park Baptist Church.
