Daniel Everett Omans' Obituary
Age 70, of Jackson, passed away at his home Saturday, January 25, 2020. He is survived by his four children; Kelly (Levi) Whitney, Steven (Becky) Omans, Amanda (Bruce) Omans and Rebecca (Blake) Rogers, sixteen grandchildren; two brother, Doug Omans and Darrell (Marsha) Omans, uncle; Merlyn (Lilah) Smith, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Daniel was preceded in death by his brother; David M. Omans and parents; Robert and Merlene (maiden-Smith) Omans. He was a retired Freight Conductor with the Norfolk and Southern Railroad, graduated from Michigan Center High School Class of 1969, he loved to bowl, spend his summers at the cabin in Maine, and volunteer at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital and the State Department of Corrections. He was a big fan of University of Michigan Football, the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Lions. Daniel was a devoted friend of Bill W. Services will be held at the funeral home Monday. February 3, 2020 at 11 am with Pastor Larry Rubingh officiating. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Napoleon, Michigan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, February 2, 2020 from noon to 4 pm.
