Cathy, Todd, Bryan and family, we are sitting here with tears in our eyes. I believe Dave and Jim were the two youngest in their 1961 class. They grew up neighbors and attended Norvells one room school than onto Napoleon Schools. Dave was in our wedding in 1967. Dave knew he was loved. He will always be with you, keep the good memories in your hearts. You will see something and smile thinking that Dave would have loved that. Dave called while on the road and we stopped in to visit with you guys and he proudly showed us his 3 wheeler. grin.. He will be missed. Hugs and Blessings. The picture was Dave.

David was a classmate. He was a very quiet humble man and was liked by all that knew him. Thanks for being in my life David R.I.P. friend
I absolutely loved working with Dave at TAC in Diecast for many years he was a awesome man and a very hard worker, never was afraid to say what he needed to be said, or do what needed to be done. I loved the spunk he had he would run circle around all the young folk at work, the Boss Roger would have to tell him to go to break he would just keep working i seen him a few time at to John Deer place he is going to be missed by many people that loved him RIH

I was fortunate to get a job posting that put me in the Midwest over the past several years where we were able to spend time with Dave and Cath. Dave was a motorsport fan to the very core. All it took was one phone call letting him know where we were racing, and his immediate response was always "we'll be there". He and Cath would load up the CanAm and ride in any weather to be part of the crew. We would sit around long weekends in the pits and tell stories, and talk and laugh. Those weekends are now some of my most cherished memories. One story he loved to tell was about one of his first jobs out of high school with Maule Aviation, when the Maule Aircraft was built in Napoleon. He made a deal to be a welder for Mr. Maule in exchange for flight lessons; he admitted to doing a lot more welding than flying, but he couldn't tell the story without laughing. That was pure Dave, his sense of humor and infectious laugh ever present. Jan's tribute is fantastic, and it brings to mind Tim riding his Triumph, and Frank on his big blue Harley; safe to say, motorcycles run in the family. Dave was the epitome of a "big brother"; his quiet confidence, encouragement, and moral support always on display. We will certainly miss him.
I will always remember my cousin Dave as a strong, steady man, really a "salt of the earth" kind of person. My heart goes out to Cathy and the rest of his family. He will leave a space that can't be filled in the lives all of us.
My Uncle Dave was a wonderful person and I always enjoyed talking to him ! I always got a kick out of him tooling around on his ORANGE Can Am Spyder !! It never had one spot of dust on it !! I am thankful that he is no longer in pain , and hope he is sharing stories with his brothers in heaven.
