David Alan Seizert's Obituary
David Alan Seizert passed away in his home near Blissfield, Michigan, on February 26, 2026. He was the only child of Robert Dean Seizert and Donna Helen Whitman Seizert. David was born in Tecumseh Village, Michigan, on October 30, 1951. David loved animals and was an active member of the Toledo Zoo, often making trips with family members. He also loved birds and could tell you the name of any bird he saw. He also loved his plants and trees. David led a very private life, but was very supportive of his family. He cared for his mother during her last years and supported his father until his death. David is survived by his step-sister, Shirley (Gerald) Honeycutt, of Tecumseh; his uncles, Samuel C. Seizert (Mary Lou) and Gerald G. Seizert (Barbara); and many cousins, step nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Eineder Funeral Homes ~ Brooklyn Chapel, has provided direct cremation; there will be no services. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
