David Howard Sher's Obituary
Age 76, of Summit Township, passed away January 6, 2016 at the Highland Alzheimer's Care Residence under the loving care of his family, the Highland Staff and Great Lakes Caring Hospice. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sharon Lee (Lennox, maiden-Spence) Sher, three sons, Marc (Joanne) Sher, David (Jennifer) Lennox and John Lennox, seven grandchildren; Andrew and Annika Sher, Brynne, SeiJin, Elayne and Daryth Lennox and Kelley McNabb, former daughter-in-law, Kimberly Swartz. He was preceded in death by his grandson Ryan Lennox and his parents, David and El Raye (maiden-Pepple) Sher. Mr. Sher served the nation in the US Air Force, was a retired Systems Analyst from Aeroquip (now Eaton) Corporation and was an avid and talented golfer. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to honor his life will be held at the funeral home Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 4 pm with Rev. Richard Brooks officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. The Jackson County American Legion Ritual will offer military honors. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
