David Patrick Soutar Jr.'s Obituary
David Patrick Soutar, Jr, 30, passed away August 29, 2023 at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. David’s family and friends will gather at 12:00 PM until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Eineder Funeral Homes - Brooklyn Chapel.
He was born on August 14, 1993 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to David and Melissa (Gouge) Soutar, Sr. He will be remembered for his love of life, sense of humor, and sarcastic side. DJ was a Columbia Central High School graduate, class of 2011. He was always helping others, even at the end, as he was a Gift of Life Donor. DJ was an amazing dad to his son Colten. He was a proud member of the Bikers Against Bullies organization, his biker name being “Scratch”. He enjoyed taking road trips going anywhere. DJ attended annual family gatherings in West Virginia as often as possible. He had a need for speed. DJ will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
David is survived by the mother of his child, Savannah Greene; his son, Colten Patrick Soutar; his parents, David and Melissa Soutar, Sr; siblings, Heather Soutar and Leah Soutar; nephew, Grayson Yarbro; niece, Brooklynn Yarbro; grandfather, Charles Soutar; uncles, Mack Vanover and Brian Vanover; aunts, Stephanie Waugh, Jeanne Goodman, Eileen Soutar, and Stephanie Pierce; cousins, Emily Pierce, Brittany Lilly, Brandon Davis, Chase Vanover, Nylah Vanover, Abel Flint, Sophie Flint, Kandis Flint, Emma Goodman, Colin Goodman, Adrianna Davis, Ryder Slezak, Ellie Lilly and Gracelyn Lilly. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Mary Soutar and Carol Vanover; grandfather, Larry Gouge.
