David Ralph Stone's Obituary
David Ralph Stone, age 76, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023. He was born on October 19, 1946, in Michigan Center, Michigan to Ralph and Alice (Flansburg) Stone. David graduated from Michigan Center High School in 1964, then joined the Army and proudly served in the Vietnam War. David married the love of his life, Susan Marie Vining on July 13, 1968, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Michigan Center. He retired after 33 years from AT&T as a technician for 911. David enjoyed spending time with his sons, David and Jason, racing remote-controlled cars. If he wasn’t with his sons, you would find him hunting or fishing while he was enjoying his time on Michigan Center Lake.
David will be missed by his beloved wife of 54 years, Sue; his sons, David (Farah) Stone and Jason Stone, his sister, Carolyn (Cliff) Janz and special cousin, Mark Stevens. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Alice Stone and his sister, Elaine Daly.
The family will schedule a Memorial Service for David at a later date and time.
