Deborah Jean Chafin's Obituary
Age 64, of Summit Township, passed away at her home under the loving care of her family and SouthernCare Hospice Tuesday, August 13, 2019. She is survived by her husband, Dennis J.; two children; Donald (Sarah) Knapp and Stephanie (Lee) Trombley; step children, Lydia, Lindsay, Quentin and Timothy (Cassie) Chafin; grandchildren, Logan and Liam Trombley, Brooke and Adalynne Knapp, Britton Puksich, Tyler Marshall and Greyson Chafin; sisters, Charlene (Dale) Stegg, Linda (Richard) Cook and Ann (Mark) Brown; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Doris (maiden-Houghton) Good. Deborah enjoyed trips and was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and especially grandmother who treasured times spent with family. Deborah loved to travel, spend time on the beach and looked forward to the yearly getaway with her sisters, aunts and cousins. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at the funeral home Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 2:30 pm with Mr. Terry Meinka officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6-8 pm and on Saturday one hour prior to services. Contributions in her memory are directed to SouthernCare Hospice.
