Deborah Lang's Obituary
Deborah Frances Lang, 68, of Brooklyn, passed away on January 17, 2024, at Toledo Hospital in Ohio. Debbie’s family and friends will gather on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, from 3:00PM- 7:00PM at Eineder Funeral Homes - Brooklyn Chapel with a Rosary at 6:30PM. Her Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Joseph Shrine Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, following the gathering from 10:00AM- 11:00AM. Her burial will follow at St. Joseph Shrine Catholic Cemetery. Father Zach Mabee will serve as celebrant.
Debbie was born on December 1, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan to Stanley and Eleanor (Alekson) Roman. She married the love of her life, Michael, on November 3, 1978, in Westland, Michigan. Debbie will be remembered as someone who loved spending time with her family, her grandkids, and her dogs. She graduated from John Glenn High School in Westland, MI and went on to get her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Madonna University. Debbie was a registered nurse at St. Joe’s Hospital in Ann Arbor for 43 years before retiring. She was a member of the Altar Society, and The Stuff the Stockings group at St. Joseph’s Shrine in Brooklyn, Michigan. Debbie enjoyed shopping trips with her girls, kayaking on the lake, and being goofy with her grandkids. She was also known as a chocolate- lover and someone that would never pass up a craft show. In her retirement, she volunteered at the church and helped the less fortunate in her community.
Debbie will be missed by her husband, Michael; her children, Erin (Joshua) Filliater, Sarah (Brandon) Jones, Brian (Rachel) Lang, Andrea (Rich) Halpin and Alex (Rachael) Lang; siblings, Linda (Bob) Whiteaker and Veronica Roman; grandchildren Jacob, Elle, Oscar, and Delaney; She is preceded in death by her parents, Stanley, and Eleanor.
