She was born on July 1, 1962, in Jackson, Michigan to Robert and Noelia (Moralez) Nelson. She will be remembered as a very spiritual person, that had an easy-going personality that anyone could talk to. Deborah loved nature and everything to do with it. Music and photography were her passion, even taking photography courses at Jackson Community College. She was an avid rock collector and enjoyed spending time in her garden and with her flowers. She also couldn’t pass up a garage sale. Deborah attended many local Powwow’s and made the Labor Day Walk across the Mackinaw Bridge every year since 2010. Her family was her greatest love, especially the grandchildren. Spending as much time as possible with them. She will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Deborah is survived by her significant other, Ronny Culver; her son, Chad (Angela) Nelson; her parents, Robert Nelson, Sr. and Noelia Snyder; sisters, Brenda (Tom) Bell and Phyllis (Scott) Jew; grandchildren Marcus, Ariana and Lucas Nelson; and a niece, Janazhia Jew. She is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Wayne Nelson, Jr, stepmother Sherry Nelson and stepfather Homer Snyder.
