Deborah Marie Tucker's Obituary
Deborah “Debi” Marie Tucker, age 54, passed away June 16, 2020. She was born in Jackson, Michigan on November 29, 1965 to Thomas and Loretta (Wenzlick) Tucker. Debi will forever be remembered as a hardworking, devoted mother who would light up the room with her smile and lively personality. She spent the former part of her career in the Mortgage Services Industry as a Loan Officer and more recently made a change into the Chevrolet Sales & Leasing Professional business. She thrived in this role, receiving the Mark of Excellence Award in a surprisingly short amount of time, which only made her want to push harder.
Debi was an incredibly proud mother to her two children, Brody and Jamie. Unfortunately, Jamie left this world too early, but always was the light of her mom’s eye and was Debi’s best friend. Debi loved any activities involving her son, Brody. Debi was Brody’s biggest cheerleader at his football games, never caring if she was too loud. She was an independent woman who stood her ground but would also give you the shirt off her back. Debi was always caring for others, whether it was family, friends, neighbors, or animals.
Debi will be deeply missed by: Thomas (Polly) Tucker (father), Brody Whitney (son), Dustin Whitney (best friend), Denny Aiken (stepfather), Bruce (Cheryl) Bivens (sibling), Chris Relf (sibling), Tracy Aiken (sibling), Trever Aiken (sibling), Renay (Ed) Whited (sibling), Karri Tucker (sibling), TJ Tucker (sibling), June Jones (best friend), Terry and Chris Millican, Stephanie Whitney, numerous nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, and by many friends that she made over the years. Debi is preceded in death by her mother Loretta and by her beloved daughter, Jamie Lynn Jenkins. She is smiling down on us with her mother and with Jamie Lynn.
We will forever miss her physical presence, but we will have wonderful memories to cherish.
