Debra D. Pariseau-Smith's Obituary
Age 62, of Jackson and Augusta, GA, passed away in Augusta on Saturday, October 29, 2016. She is survived by her siblings, Ray (Donna) Rokita of Lansing, Al (Jody) Rokita of Jackson, Karen (Marlin) Hughes of Aiken, SC and Kevin Granger of Jackson; special friend, Rick Smith of Jackson; aunt, Pam Stevens of Houston, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends; as well as her beloved special canine buddies, Katie, Mr. Wiggles, Ms. Abby and Chas. Deb was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia Reynolds and Raymond Rokita Sr.; "step-fathers", Donald Reynolds and John Brainard; grandparents, Elna and Dwight Purdy, Standish and Josephine Rokita; aunts, Gloria Dietrich and Peggy Cross; uncle, Michael Purdy Sr. Deb was employed with BCP Engineering in Augusta and had worked as Project Controls Manager with many government nuclear sites. In Jackson, she had worked for Preferred Manufacturing LLC and Gilbert-Commonwealth Associates. Deb was a great wife, sister, aunt and friend and was adored by those she met from around the world. She was an organizer, the best listener who enjoyed helping people, loved animals, interior decorating, travelling; one of her favorite destinations was the mountains around Knoxville, TN. Deb was a member of Project Management Institute (PMI) and of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3019 W. Morrell St., Jackson, MI 49203 where funeral services will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Roseland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm.
