Dee Ann Moon's Obituary
Dee Ann Moon, 90 of Jackson, passed away February 29, 2024 at Faith Haven. Dee’s family and friends will gather from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel (Formerly Arthur-Day Funeral Home), with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Her memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2024, with a gathering beginning at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Amal Rayapillai, SdC will serve as celebrant. There will be a private interment of ashes at Leoni Cemetery.
She was born on June 22, 1933, in Jackson, Michigan to Noel Alvin Cummer and Mable Lucile Marsh. Dee graduated from East Jackson High school. She married Richard D. Wilkinson in 1951, and later married Donald L. Moon, in 1956. Dee will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima and enjoyed attending church functions.
Dee will be missed by her children, Richard L. Wilkinson and Robin D. Moon; brother, Kenneth M. Cummer; 4 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by Richard D. Wilkinson (1955) and Donald L. Moon (2005), and her son, Michael D. Wilkinson (2020).
