Memories. Such kind and wonderful memories. Years ago after my mother died, I would have been probably 7 or 8 years old, and my father married again, we moved to Stoney Lake. There was a little creek running between our house and the neighbors, the Seppi's. I have an awful fear of snakes to this day, and at the time I wasn't all that fond of reptiles period. Dennis, as I know now wasn't that much older then me, and my memory is of a very kind young boy who had a chameleon as a pet. Did he shove it in my face? No. He actually took his time to show me his chameleon, to the point where he had me holding it. This memory has stuck with me all of these years as he could have been a tormentor, but was the exact opposite. If I have cherished this memory all of these years I can only imagine all of the wonderful memories that each and everyone of his family hold in their hearts and minds. May you rest in peace old friend, and may the wonderful memories of your time on this earth help to sustain your family and friends through this difficult time.
