Diana Lou Watson's Obituary
Age 68, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away June 25, 2020 at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. She is survived by her children, Jason Edward Chase, Heather Lynn (husband-Ryan) Kloack and Justin Avery (wife-Jennifer) Chase; grandchildren, Avery Diana Orchard, Carson Michael Orchard, Karly Lynn Chase, Bailey Ford Chase, Brody Jason Chase and Sadielee Amanda Chase; sister, Cynthia Sue Watson; nieces, Tamara Jo (husband-Frank) Warner and DeAnna Marie Smith; great nephews, Craig James (wife-Kari) Warner, Jr., Thomas James Rife and Joshua Ray Rife. She was preceded in death by her parents, Max Avery Watson and Darlene Euola Kirkby. Diana was a prominent and active life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her calling and service in The Church was a Temple and Family History Consultant. She served as a personal proxy in the temple for her ancestors and submitted well over 8,000 temple ordinances on their behalf to the temple to seal her ancestral family members together for eternity. Diana's professional career was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She retired from the Michigan State Department of Corrections Medical Room at the Cotton Facility. Her passion was genealogy, family history and the gospel she received and taught in The Church. She had a great love for her Savior Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, interior decorating, reading, jigsaw puzzles, and working in her well-manicured yard. Her favorite expression was, "The answer is always love."Visitation will be held at Arthur-Day Funeral Home on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 6 to 8 pm. Private family services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 with Bishop Robert Connor officiating and interment following at Oak Grove Cemetery in Napoleon.
