Donal A LeJeune's Obituary
LeJEUNE, DONAL Age 56, of Jackson, quietly passed away at his home under the loving care of his family on Sunday, January 6, 2013, after a long battle with kidney disease. Don is survived by his wife, Deb; two daughters, Kimberly and April (Ron Tuhy) LeJeune; his father, Gordon Good; sister, Gaye Bivins; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Good and sister, Tonya Glass. Don worked at Vermeulen Furniture of Jackson for over 30 years. His hobbies included taking pristine care of his yard, camping and NASCAR Racing; but, his true enjoyment came from riding his Honda Goldwing and the wonderful friends he made during his membership in GWRRA. At his request, cremation has taken place and a Luncheon to Celebrate and Remember Don's life will be held at the First Church of the Nazarene Chapel, 3737 Clinton Road (M-50) in Jackson on Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 1:30 pm to 4 pm. For those who wish, contributions in Don's memory may be directed to the Cascades Humane Society or the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan. Don's family would like to extend a special thank you to the caring nurses on 5C at U of M Hospital; his home care nurse, Dan Alexander; and all our special friends who have loved and supported us through this battle. He was a loving husband and father; a caring friend; and he will be greatly missed.
