Donald F. Bevier's Obituary
Age 94, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Allegiance Health. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis (DuPaul) Bevier in 1990; son-in-law, James O'Day and 13 siblings. Donald is survived by his two daughters, Carol (Russ) Miner of Jackson and Jacqueline O'Day of Canton, MI; six grandchildren, Amber, Rusty (Kelly) and Donald (Beth) Miner and Matthew, Andrew and Kathleen O'Day; three great-grandchildren, Megan and Cody Miner and Carmen (Jason) Easler. Donald was an Army Veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific; he also survived interment in a Japanese P.O.W. Camp. He was a member and Past Post Commander of the D.A.V. and was also a member of the American Legion and V.F.W. Donald retired after many years as a custodian with the Wayne-Westland School System. Cremation has taken place and no public services will be held.
