Donald D Crabtree's Obituary
Crabtree, Donald D., Age 77, of Olivet, formerly of Michigan Center, passed away at the Ridgecrest Health Campus September 23, 2012. He is survived by three children, Kim Manning, Donnie (Kim) Crabtree and Tim (Joy) Crabtree; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; special friend, Marge; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy; daughter, Penny Marsh; parents, Charles and Nola Crabtree; brothers, James and Ralph Crabtree; sisters, Evelyn France and Elizabeth Draffen. He was a graduate of Michigan Center High School Class of 1953; Leoni Township Police Chief in the early 70's; worked at Clark Equipment and retired from Hoover Universal in Charlotte. He enjoyed fishing and camping and was a devoted family man. Services will be held at the funeral home Thursday 1:30 pm with Pastor Dennis Taylor officiating. Interment Leoni Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Cascades Humane Society.
