Donald W. Fransted's Obituary
Age 100, of Jackson and longtime resident of Napoleon Township, passed away at Legacy Assisted Living on Friday, October 30, 2020. Don is survived by his son, Jim Fransted; step-sons, Ron Ellison and Gary (Cheryl) Ellison; grandchildren, James, Karrie, Kammie, David, Lindsay, Douglas and Kelli; many great and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Keith Fransted; sister-in-law, Faye Fransted; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura M. Fransted; son, Terry Fransted; brothers, Dick (Pat) Fransted, Ed (Marilyn) Fransted and Jack Fransted. Don graduated from Napoleon Schools; was a U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran of World War II and retired as a truck driver from L.J. Beal and Son in Brooklyn. At his request, cremation was selected and private interment services will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Napoleon.
