Donald Wayne Holt's Obituary
Age 89, of Jackson, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 at the John George Home. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Marian Holt; three children, Yvonne (Mark) Ely, David (Peggy) Holt, Colleen (Phillip) Rennell; three step-children, Duane (Brenda) Tryon, Susan (Gordon) Evans and Kevin Tryon; 15 grandchildren; sister, Patty (Paul) Lentz. He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Marguerite (Rogers) Holt; three brothers, Bill, Roger and Bob Holt; sister and brother-in-law, Winona and Tom Siler. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, a retired supervisor with the Clark Equipment Company, a Charter Member of the American Legion Rose City Post and member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aeries #612 and #3634. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Northlawn Cemetery in North Adams, MI. Reverend Michael Mason will lead the service with Military Honors offered by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. A service of remembrance with an Eagles Lodge of Sorrow will also be held at the John George Home, 1501 E. Ganson Street in Jackson on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 1:00 pm followed with light refreshments.
