Donna Jean Burchett's Obituary
Age 86 of Jackson, passed away peacefully under the loving care of her family and the Greenleaf Care Home staff May 30, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul J. and Millie M. Wheaton, 2 grandsons, Mike Gerry and Eric Challender. She is survived by her children; Gail Zentgraf, Walter (Debbie) Challender II, Gary Challender, Dawn (Randy) Richey and Tracey (Rafe) Pierce. Grandchildren; Christopher, Amber, Lance, Crystal, Amanda, Hunter, Taylor, Shane, Samantha, Silvan and several great grandchildren. Donna retired from I.T.T. Hancock after 42 years. After retiring she dedicated her life to caring for her children, grandchildren and the Ladies at the Greenleaf Care Home. Donna enjoyed making caramel apples to pass out at Halloween, cake decorating, making Christmas candies and helping with her grandchildren. Services for Donna will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 4250 Page Avenue, Michigan Center on Sunday June 4, 2017 at 2 pm with Rev. Ryan Prondzinski officiating. Interment Leoni Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 pm until service time. Contributions in her memory are directed to Christ Lutheran Church or Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
