Donna Gene Kendall's Obituary
Age 85, of Jackson, passed away January 22, 2020 at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. She is survived by her son, Dale A. (Susan) Sylvester, step-son; Craig Kendall, grandchildren; Angela (Aaron) Shepherd, Thomas (Candice) Sylvester and Christopher (Stephanie) Sylvester, step-grandchildren; Brianna and Ryan Kendall, great-grandchildren; Benjamin and Silas Shepherd, Shane and Kyra Sylvester, sisters; Linda (Bob) Knepper and Lorene Butler, brother; Harley (Dianna) Wakeman, son-in-law; Mark Schopmeyer, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward E. "Gene" Kendall in 2011, daughter; Sandra Schopmeyer in 2019 and son Randy Sylvester in 1975, her parents; Clarence and Genevieve (maiden-Cass) Wakeman, siblings; Arnold, Frank and Harold Wakeman. She retired from the Jacobson's Warehouse and also drove bus for East Jackson Public Schools for many years. Services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020, 12:00 pm at the Cornerstone Christian Church with Rev. Mike Mason officiating. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening, 6-8 pm and at the church Saturday morning at 11 am.
