Donna May Williams' Obituary
Donna May Williams, 92, of Cement City, Michigan passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 8, 2025. Donna’s family and friends will gather from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Eineder Funeral Homes - Brooklyn Chapel and at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Cement City Baptist Church in Cement City, Michigan directly followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. A burial will take place at Cement City Baptist Memorial Gardens following the service. Pastor Drew Woods will serve as celebrant.
She was born on January 24, 1933, in Woodstock Township, Michigan to Ralph Aaron and Phyllis Marie (Brown) Houghton. Donna was 1951 alumni of Cement City High School. She married Robert Wesley Williams, on September 9, 1961 at the Cement City Baptist Church. Donna loved children and worked as a teachers aid at the Columbia Schools for over thirty years. She enjoyed bowling, softball and casinos. In 1985, at the age of fifty-two, Donna won the arm-wrestling championship at the 4th of July in Brooklyn. She loved to spend time with family and enjoyed cooking, and shopping with her daughter, Shari. Donna was a long-time member at Cement City Baptist Church and belonged to the Jackson Eagles Aerie 612. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Donna will be missed by her spouse, Robert Wesley Williams; her children, Terry (Jeannie), Meinka of Clark Lake, Michigan, Jim (Pam) Meinka of Clark Lake, Michigan, Pamela (Terry) Gage of Parma, Michigan, Scott (Susan) Williams of Somerset Center, Michigan, Shari (Jeff) Cratsenburg of Cement City, Michigan; sister Patricia Houghton of Holt, Michigan; fourteen grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews especially Don Houghton. She is preceded in death by her parents and eleven siblings.
