Donnajene M. Rosecrants' Obituary
ROSECRANTS, DONNAJENE M. Age 84, of Jackson, passed away at Allegiance Health, Thursday, February 6, 2014. Donnajene was born May 5, 1929 in Jackson to Herbert J. and Clara G. (VanWagner) Halstead. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard L.; two sons, Robert L. and David W. Rosecrants and five brothers, Herbert, Paul, Max, Bob and Bill Halstead. Donnajene is survived by her four daughters, Bonnie Aldrich (Mike Curry), Janet Patterson, Linda Rosecrants and Cindy (Chris) Deskin; one son, Ed (Penny) Rosecrants; 29 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Helen and Gay Halstead; many nieces and nephews. She was a local housecleaner and babysitter; a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. Services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Cremation will follow the services. Visitation will be held on Sunday from Noon until service time. For those who wish, contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the National Kidney Foundation.
