Doris Jean Craw's Obituary
Age 80, of Leoni Township, passed away at her home August 10, 2020 under the loving care of her daughter; Sue (Randy Kuntz) Nichols and support from Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. Besides her daughter she is survived by four grandchildren; Stacy, Corey, Brad (Allisa) and Chad Wilson, nine great-grandchildren; Dorian, Nevaeh,Gabe, Arianna, Trayten,Cullen,Eli,Connor and Lincoln. Brother; Raymond (Kathy) Broemer, Sisters; Arlene Simula and Janet Robeson, Sister-in-law Lila Craw. And many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years Melvin, son Wayne, brothers;Darrell, Jack and Frank Broemer, sisters; Maxine Stuesser, Dorothy Brownell, Irene Walimaki and Lorraine Singewald. parents; George and Marie (maiden-Doverspike) Broemer. Doris retired from Camp International as a seamstress, enjoyed wintering in Florida, summer trips to her home town of Ontonagon. Her most recent activites include bingo, auctions, flea markets and visiting casinos. She was an active participant in the events at the Boos Center and the Michigan Center Senior Nutrition Site. Cremation has taken place. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 6-8 pm with adherence to the current COVID protocols. A Graveside Interment will take place at Leoni Cemetery Wednesday August 19, 2020 at 11 am. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Michigan Center Senior Citizen Nutrition Site (in care of the Region II Council on Aging).
