Doris Jean Swager's Obituary
Age 86, longtime resident of the Jackson area, went to be with the Lord on Sunday January 10, 2021 at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. She is the beloved mother of Pamela J. (maiden-Swager) Berkeypile and Steven (Evi) Swager; grandmother to Mike Swager, Shane (Treshia) Swager, Chad (Heather) Berkeypile, Vivian (Jamie) Hall and Matt (Tiffany Nodell) Toman; great-grandmother to eleven. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Leroy D. Swager; grandson, Jakob Swager; son-in-law, Lorren Berkeypile; brother, Burrell Dulgar and her parents, Homer and Beulah (maiden-Minor) Dulgar. Doris retired from the Clerical Department at Walker Manufacturing. She was a graduate of Michigan Center High School class of 1952. She was a member of the Michigan Center Eagles #3634 since 2007 where she was always volunteering to provide food dishes for different occasions. Doris was a devoted mother, amazing cook, loved golf cart rides, bird watching, oil painting and loved being around people and helping in any way she could. She absolutely loved her two dogs, Kayla and Kasey. She had beautiful blue eyes and a smile that lit up the sky and will be greatly missed. There will be no services held at this time.
