Dorothy L. Dorsam's Obituary
Age 86, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Allegiance Health. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Lewis in 1954 and Gene Dorsam in 2014; brother, Ronald Behling and her parents, Walter and Geraldine (maiden-Harrington) Behling. Dorothy is survived by her four children, Richard Lewis, Carol Sosinski, Judy (Kenny Coolbaugh) Franks and Kim McNally; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Esther Wise, Marjorie Beers, Beverly (Cecil) Griffes and Cynthia (Gary) Grimco; sister-in-law, Nancy Behling; many nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed knitting and golfing. Cremation has taken place and no public services will be held. She has been interred at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan next to her late husband Gene. For those who wish, contributions in Dorothy's memory may be given to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
