Dorothy M. Gundy's Obituary
Age 94, of Jackson and Pinellas Park, FL, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 under the care of her family and the staff at Henry Ford Allegiance Health. She was preceded in death by husbands, Robert Morrison and Charles Gundy; siblings, Helen Martin, Mary Lou Rosencrants, Edward Haines and James Haines; and step-daughter, Linda (Gundy) Rietz. Dorothy is survived by her brother, Dick (Bev) Haines; step-sons, Jeff Gundy and Greg (Debbie) Gundy; step-son-in-law, John (Marguerite) Rietz; best friend, Nancy VanValkenburg; numerous step-grand and great-grandchildren; many special nieces and nephews. She worked at Photo Marketing Association for 40 years and upon retirement in 1989, she and Chuck moved to Florida where they enjoyed life to the fullest. In March of 2018, Dorothy returned to Jackson to be closer to family, she once again made the most of everyday right up until her passing. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass to celebrate her life well lived will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 913 Napoleon Road, Michigan Center on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 1:00 pm with Father Tim MacDonald officiating.
