Dorothy Bernice McCrum's Obituary
Age 98, of Jackson, passed away April 6, 2015 at the Jackson County Medical Care Facility. She is survived by her son, Leo W. (Carol) McCrum, three grandchildren, Mike (Susan) McCrum, Steve McCrum and Karen Walcher, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband August, two brothers and sisters. Dorothy loved the Detroit Tigers, worked during World War II as a 'Rosie the Riveter', had belonged to the Jackson Aerie #612 F.O.E. Ladies Auxiliary and was a longtime and dedicated member of St. Aidans Episcopal Church, (361 E. Grove, Michigan Center) where services will be held Friday, April 10, 2015 at 1:30 pm with Rev. John Morris officiating. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from noon to service time. Contributions in her memory are directed to the church. The McCrum family wishes to acknowledge the wonderful care given our loved one by the staff at JCMCF.
