Douglas Earl Holderman, 72, of Napoleon, Michigan, passed away, October 12, 2024. A private family service will take place at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel (formerly Arthur -Day).
Douglas was born on April 25, 1952, in Jackson, Michigan to Versal and Fayella (Phillips) Holderman. After high school graduation, Douglas proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Upon returning, Douglas married the love of his life, Shelly. He will be remembered as an avid spectator of all sports, including NASCAR and football, but his favorite and most cherished was watching his grandchildren at their sporting events. Douglas loved to feed the backyard animals and often fed squirrels right out of his hand. His family meant everything to him, and he especially adored his grandchildren.
Douglas will be missed by his wife, Shelly; his son, Jeff (Tonya) Quinn and daughter Amanda Quinn; grandchildren, Josiah (Caroline) Quinn, Ben (Sydney) Quinn, Drew Allen, Leah (Adam) Allen, Haley (Ethan) Rose and Ryker Rudd. He is preceded in death by his parents, Versal and Fayella Holderman.
