Douglas D. VanEpps' Obituary
Douglas Dale VanEpps, 74, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital. He was born on June 8, 1949, in Jackson, Michigan to Homer Dale VanEpps and Donna Jean (Whiting) VanEpps. Douglas married the love of his life, Sharon, on November 5, 1966. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband and father who enjoyed the outdoors. Douglas loved hunting and fishing, playing softball and was in a pool league. He was a member of the Jackson Eagles #612. Douglas will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Douglas will be missed by his spouse Sharon; his daughter, Toni Ojeda; his mother, Donna Board; siblings, Cheryl (Jon) Teegarden, Randy (Tinker) VanEpps, Janice Thomas (Mike, dec.), and Clyde (Nancy) VanEpps; grandchildren Sarah (Lucas) Stapley, and Jonathan (Katie) Ojeda; great grandchildren Bentley Smith, Brealynn Stapley, Cullen Stapley, and Mila Ojeda; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Brian “Boomer” VanEpps (2000), and his dad, Homer (2008).
