Dove Hawley (Arivett)'s Obituary
Age 88, of Jackson, passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 at Highland Assisted Living and Memory Care. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland "Pete" Hawley; as well as the father of her children, Edward Arivett; son-in-law, Arvin NaDell; siblings, Alvin and Thomas Whitaker, Norsie Marshall and Gladys Clark; infant siblings, Icie and Nolan. Dove is survived by daughters, Debra NaDell and Penny Arivett, both of Jackson; grandchildren, Angela Doty and Lindsay NaDell; great-grandchild, Dacoda Inks; siblings, Rex (Bertha) Whitaker, Jack Whitaker and Carl (Dorothy) Whitaker; Hawley family members; many nieces and nephews. Dove owned Dove's Beauty Salon in the East Jackson area for over 30 years. She just loved people in general. A Service to Celebrate Dove's life will be held with a private family service at the Roseland Memorial Gardens Chapel with Pastor Robert Castle from Jeruel Baptist Church in Munith officiating. Dove's family would like to thank the staff both at Highland and SouthernCare Hospice for their loving care and support. For those who wish, contributions in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
