Duaine Mark Lindeman Sr's Obituary
Duaine Mark Lindeman, Sr., 71, of Cement City, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, March 3, 2023 at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital, Jackson. Duaine’s family and friends will gather Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Eineder Funeral Homes - Brooklyn Chapel. His funeral service will be at 11:00 am. with interment to follow at Highland Cemetery. Pastor Brian Fath will officiate.
He was born on February 18, 1952 in Jackson, Michigan to Howard and Evelyn (Nelson) Lindeman. Duaine married the love of his life, Marion Gilbert on February 27, 1970 in Adrian, Michigan. He will be remembered as very hard worker with a great work ethic. Duaine was a good man, husband, father and grandfather that liked to help people. He had a passion for hunting, fishing and farming. Duaine just loved the outdoors. He attended Gate of Grace Church with Marion on special occasions. Duaine was a “jack of all trades”. He could fix anything. Duaine did quite a bit of welding and fabrications, even creating his own designs, retiring after several years of service from Premier Corrugated. He also worked the railroad, repairing trains, and trucks. Duaine was a great provider for his family. He cherished his time hunting with his father and working the land. He will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Duaine is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marion; his children, Duaine Lindeman Jr., Keith (Amanda) Lindeman, Annette Brown and Aaron (Madenna) Lindeman; siblings, Vietta Whitson, Jackie (Ralph) Bramley, Daniel (Kim) Lindeman, Dennis (Elaine) Lindeman, Dale Lindeman, Kelly (Joe) Brown and Laurie Klima; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Don Lindeman; a niece, Vicky Curly and a nephew, Daniel Lindeman, Jr.
