Duane Walter Brown's Obituary
Age 70, of Napoleon Township, passed away at his home July 25, 2015. He is survived by his sister, Diana Lee Sniffen; uncle, Nelson Brown; two nieces, Charlene (Randall) Polsley and Darlene Sniffen; one nephew, Douglas Sniffen and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Evert N. and Alvena G. (maiden-Nebelung) Brown. Duane served the nation in the US Army and was a combat veteran of the Vietnam War, member of the Loyal Order of Moose Jackson #156, retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years service and was a classic car enthusiast. Mr. Brown has been cremated. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 1 pm with Pastor Randy Polsley officiating. Visitation one hour prior to services. Veterans honors will be offered by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Jackson County Veterans Van Fund.
